Ingredients
2 1/4 Cup Flour
2 Tsp Baking Soda
1 Tsp Ginger Powder
1 Tsp Cinnamon
1/2 Tsp Cloves
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/4 Tsp Nutmeg
1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
1/2 Cup Dark Brown Sugar
1 Egg
3/4 Cup Unsalted Butter
1/4 Cup Molasses
1 Tsp Vanilla
Saran Wrap
1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
Instructions
- Combine flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, salt, and nutmeg in a large bowl and set to the side.
- Combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, egg, butter, molasses, and vanilla in another bowl. Mix well. You should have a smooth consistency.
- Mix half of dry ingredients in and combine well and then add other half of dry ingredients and mix until you have a smooth dough formed.
- Wrap dough in saran wrap and refrigerate for one hour.
- Using a small ice cream scoop, scoop dough, and roll in sugar and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10 minutes at 350 F
